Trophies

Why Share Trophies Online?

  1. To encourage others to play RPGs
  2. To let people see that RPGs are about shared games and fun
  3. To show the constructive side of RPG and adventure games and gameplay
  4. To show other players all the cool stuff you do and make during the game
  5. To encourage you to appreciate what you’ve achieved
  6. To demonstrate how you can invent and re-invent gameplay

Formats

Trophies based on or in the form of sketches, paintings, photographs, video footage, origami, ‘actual plays’, collages, photo collages, podcasts, logs, web pages, Team Renegade tags and many more types of media can all provide entertainment other players will enjoy and, possibly, learn from.

Pledges

If you claim any dust or an award that is undeserved, (or use false trophies), you’re only cheating yourself. Make your word your bond!

Completing

An outcome from a challenge is only completed when the challenge is ‘seen through’, e.g. if you start a game group for kids decide on a manageable number of sessions and commit. You’ll know when you’ve done enough to deserve some dust.

Experienced Players and GMs

Any GM or player who can self-evidence that she/ he has previously completed a challenge can claim the stardust without repeating the challenge, providing trophies are reviewed and the GM or player can commit to the evidence. Having done so, a repeated challenge would only count for half the dust. Which means that the highest overall totals are more easily gained from a fresh start?

Permissions

It’s really important to get permissions to share identifiable trophies and avoid giving out too much personal information in photos and videos, including locations where you may be found. Please read our terms and conditions before posting trophies.

Posting Trophies and Ideas

Please send us links to your online evidence and media showing your productions such as tags and trophies. We’ll post as much as we can. The largest file size currently accepted by the form is 10Mb.

Ideas for new challenges are also very welcome; along with any other suggestions or feedback. Help us shape the game!
